Two men received long prison sentences for fatally beating a man walking home from work on Santa Barbara’s Eastside.
Michael Cardenas and Ismael Parra were convicted of second degree murder, battery, and street terrorism for the October, 2010 killing of George Ied.
Parra received a 15 years to life sentence.
Cardenas received the same 15 years to life sentence, plus an additional six years because of past violent behavior.
Two other men are still awaiting sentencing for what prosecutors called an unprovoked attack.
