Shark Sighting Prompts Placement Of Warning Signs On Central Coast Beach

Posted on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 3:29pm

A shark sighting off a Central Coast beach has prompted officials to put up warning signs.

A surfer reported seeing a great white shark at Guadalupe Dunes beach Tuesday morning.

The beach isn’t closed, but the signs warns people that they go into the ocean at their own risk.

The warning signs will remain in place until midday Friday, unless there are further sightings.

No one has been hurt.
