Santa Cruz Island Making Comeback From Centuries Of Man Made Damage

From polluting the ocean, to bringing non-native plants, and animals onshore, humans have disrupted the environment of the Channel Islands for literally centuries.

But, a project to undo some of the man-made damage on one of the islands not only is reporting a number of successes, nature is bouncing back even faster than researchers dreamed.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports this morning from the largest of the Channel Islands, Santa Cruz Island.
