Posted on Thursday, June 6, 2013 8:53am

There’s shock in one Ventura County community this morning, over word that an official at a high school has been arrested on child molestation, and sexual battery charges.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Department officials say following a two week long investigation, they arrested Camarillo High School Associate principal Felix Gallegos.

Investigators say two separate, unrelated allegations of inappropriate touching were made by an adult female staff member, and a female student.

The 41 year old Camarillo man has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of child molestation, and one misdemeanor count of sexual battery.

The Oxnard High School District has put Gallegos on administrative leave, pending the outcome of the situation.
