Posted on Friday, May 31, 2013 8:55am

There have been about a dozen aftershocks since Wednesday’s magnitude 4.8 earthquake off the Santa Barbara County coastline.

The large of the temblors since the initial quake was a magnitude 3.1 which occurred Wednesday night.

The quakes have been centered around four miles west of Isa Vista, under the ocean.

The initial quake was felt as far away as the San Fernando Valley, but some of the aftershocks were so small they were barely felt in the UCSB area.
