Posted on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 12:27pm

Detectives are trying to find a group of men responsible for an attack in Oxnard which left one man seriously wounded, and a woman injured with a minor gunshot wound.

Oxnard Police were called to the 600 block of Devonshire Drive at about eight last night, by reports of a shooting. They found an 18 year old Oxnard woman who had been shot in the back. A few blocks away, they found a second victim, a 19 year old Oxnard man who had been shot multiple times. Both shooting victims are expected to fully recover from their wounds.

Witnesses say the two victims were walking near the intersection of Devonshire, and F Street when they were confronted by a group of three to four men. There was a verbal confrontation, and then one of the men pulled out a gun, and shot the two victims.
