11 people were arrested in Ventura County today, after a teenage girl was lured to a home, and beaten as apparent payback for the breakup of a relationship.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Detectives say the 16 year old girl went to a home on the 700 block of St. Charles Drive in Thousand Oaks March 10th, not knowing it was a trap.
She was attacked by four women, and a teenage girl, and beaten so badly she had to be taken to a hospital.
Following a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department investigation, authorities from a dozen law enforcement agencies served search warrants at eight Ventura County locations today.
Nearly 60 officers were involved in the effort, which resulted in nine arrests for the attack, and two other people on other charges.
The charges against the six adults, and five teenagers range from assault with a deadly weapon, to weapons possession and drug charges.
The teenage victim is recovering from her injuries.
