History literally flew through the skies of the South Coast yesterday.

A formation of rare World War Two vintage military aircraft
flew from Palm Springs, to Camarillo for a special exhibition today and tomorrow.

The star of the show is a massive B-29 bomber…the only one of its type out of more than 4,000 built which is still flying.
The huge, aluminum covered aircraft is the same type which dropped the two atomic bombs which helped bring World War Two to a close.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story, from Camarillo Airport.
