Ventura Lymphoma Survivor Talks About Her Battle, In Effort To Raise Awareness About Event For People Affected By Blood Cancers

Posted on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 12:25am

Cancer can take many forms…some commonly known, and some more unusual, or rare.

A Ventura County woman has had to deal with two forms of blood cancers, but she’s beat them, and is now doing well.

She’s one of the people taking part in a free luncheon in Ventura this weekend, sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, to try to bring together people in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties affected by blood cancers.

KCLU’s Lance Orozco has her story.
