Fire Damages Two Units Of Ventura County Condominium Complex, Injuring One

One person had to be treated for smoke inhalation, and seven are homeless following a fire at a condominium complex in Ventura County.

The fire was spotted just before 1 p.m. today, on the 2600 block of Captain Street in Port Hueneme.

Ventura County, and City of Oxnard firefighters arrived to find flames, and smoke coming from the five unit complex. It took more than an hour to fully contain the blaze. Two units were damaged.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
