Authorities Identify Man Believed Responsible For Multiple Murders In Oxnard

Posted on Friday, February 1, 2013 4:36pm

Authorities have now released the name of a man they believe was responsible for the killing of a mother, and her pregnant daughter in Oxnard this week, before killing himself.

The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office says Guido Morales Beteta died from a self-inflected gunshot wound.

Oxnard Police think he killed Adriana Davalos and her mother Lucila on the 1200 block of Hull Place, and then shot himself to death on the 200 block of South Marquita Street.

Police say the 54 year old man had been involved in a relationship with Adriana Davalos, and that they had two children together.

The children were with the women at the time they were killed, but were unhurt. Investigators are trying to piece together what might have led to the killings.
