Fire investigators are looking for potential witnesses to the two fires which occurred on Santa Barbara’s Television Hill this week, which they now believe were deliberately set.
The first blaze occurred at around 5:45 Monday night, off of Loma Alta Drive, and the second one occurred a few blocks away around 8:30 Tuesday night. The first fire was the largest of the two, burning more than two acres of brush.
Santa Barbara firefighters were able to quickly knock down both blazes before they were able to damage nearby homes.
Investigators say they are looking for anyone who may have seen people leaving the scene of the fire, or who took cell phone pictures of the blazes.
