Storm Bringing Light Rainfall, Possible Snowfall In Mountains For Santa Barbara And Ventura Counties

The first in a series of winter storms has arrived on the South Coast, dropping light rainfall throughout the region.

So far, rainfall amounts in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties have been less than a tenth of an inch, but heavier rainfall is expected overnight The snow level could drop to 5000 feet overnight, with two to five inches of snow possible.

This storm will clear out tomorrow, but forecasters say a potentially stronger one will arrive Friday afternoon, and last into Saturday.
