28 People Indicted In Ventura County In Connection With Mexican Mafia Gang

Ventura County authorities have made a sweeping attack on what’s known as the Mexican Mafia prison gang, arresting 17 people in the county with alleged ties to the gang on charges ranging from drug dealing, to robbery.

A grand jury indictment which led to the arrests named 28 people, 11 of whom are still at large.

The 17 already in custody appeared in court yesterday, with all of them entering not guilty pleas.
