Posted on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 3:37pm

A town hall meeting in Santa Barbara this week is going to look at what’s been an ongoing issue in Santa Barbara County, the problem of homelessness.

It’s estimated that more than 4,000 people are homeless in the county, and that the community is spending tens of millions of dollars annual to deal it, ranging from social services, to law enforcement.

Social services, law enforcement, and housing officials are set to be on a panel for tomorrow night’s event at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. The 7 p.m. event is free, and open to the public.
