Oxnard Woman Sentenced To Prison For DUI Crash Which Killed Daughter

An Oxnard woman has received a 27 years to life sentence for a DUI crash which killed her daughter.

Judith Ramirez had been convicted of DUI, child endangerment, driving with a suspended driver’s license. Prosecutors say the 39 year old woman had left a party, and had stopped at a convenience store to buy a beer just before the crash. The May, 2010 crash killed her 17 year old daughter, Victoria, and left her four year old son, and a family friend injured. She has two other DUI convictions on her record.
