Ventura Police Identify Suspect Sought For Three Bank Robberies

A man Ventura Police call an armed and dangerous bank robber has now been identified.

Detectives say Daniel Lopez, Junior is responsible for at least three bank robberies in Ventura since August. They say he robbed a U.S. Bank on Victoria Avenue on August first, a Chase bank on Victoria Avenue on August 23rd, and a RaboBank on Mills Avenue September 28th.

While he used a disguise, investigators say they’ve linked the 50 year old man to the robberies. They say he may also be responsible for several other crimes in the city. They say Lopez has been known to stay in motels in the Ventura, Oxnard, and Santa Barbara areas, and are asking for the public’s help in finding him.
