Ventura County firefighters contained a 25 acre brushfire burning in the hills southwest of Camarillo.
The fire was discovered at around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Pancho, and Howard Roads. No structures were threatened but because the terrain is so rugged, hand crews, and a helicopter were used to fight the fire.
Teams will be on the scene mopping up overnight. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
