A Ventura County woman was arrested after police say she climbed into a car waiting in the drive-thru line of an Oxnard fast food restaurant, and robbed the man in the car at knifepoint.
It happened at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, at a restaurant near the intersection of Vineyard Avenue and Oxnard Boulevard. The woman took the man’s money, and cellphone.
The victim flagged down a passing police car, and told them he saw the woman getting into a tan pickup truck which pulled onto the northbound 101 Freeway. Police stopped the truck, and arrested Nicole Martin of Santa Paula for armed robbery. They determined that the truck’s driver wasn’t involved in the incident, and released him.
