Simi Valley Police Arrest Convicted Drug Dealer On New Drug, Weapons Charges

Posted on Saturday, October 13, 2012 12:02am

Simi Valley Police say a man on parole for drug offenses has been re-arrested after he was found to have a pond of methamphetamine in his possession, as well as a loaded handgun, and thousands of dollars in cash.

Joseph Romagnano had received early release under the state’s program to release non-violent offenders from state prisons, and return then to local jurisdictions for supervision.

When he was arrested, Simi Valley Special Enforcement officers found a motel room key in his possession. Officers went to the San Fernando Valley motel, they found his girlfriend trying to dispose of illegal drugs, and she was arrested as well.
