Some Small Businesses Impacted By Drought In Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties May Be Eligible For Federal Aid

Small businesses in 43 California counties, including Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, may be eligbile for federal assistance if they were seriously impacted by drought conditions this year.

The Federal Small Business Adminstration is making low interest federal disaster loans availble to non-farm businesses hurt by drought conditions between February and May.

Loans of up to two million dollars are available for small agricultural cooperatives, small business involved in aquaculture, and private, non-profit organizations which can show they were serious impacted by drought conditions.
