Posted on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 12:40am

Authorities are now identifying a man who died in the wake of what Oxnard police are calling a pair of gang related shootings.

The attacks happened Monday night, just before 9 p.m. on the 1800 block of O’Neill Place, and the 2500 block of Greenbrook Drive. The two locations are only a few hundred feet away from each other.

Detectives say 19 year old Jose Gonzales of Oxnard was shot to death, and a 22 year old man critically wounded. They think there were multiple people involved in the attacks, but no arrests have been made at this time
