Oxnard Man Convicted Of Shooting To Death Neighbor

An Oxnard man has been convicted of first degree murder, after prosecutors say he chased down a neighbor following an argument, and shot him three times in the back.

Alex Compian, Junior could face up to a 50 years to life sentence when he’s sentenced July 31st for the Christmas Eve, 2009 slaying of Mario Cisneros.

The two lived on the 200 block of Alpine Street in Oxnard.

Investigators say that following an argument on the street, the 50 year old victim ran back into his yard, and that Compian shot, and fatally wounded him by firing shots through a wooden fence.
