Santa Barbara County Software Maker Gives $58,000 To Local Schools

A high tech company on the South Coast is stepping up to help local educators, with $58,000 in grants to support technology improvements, and teacher innovation programs.

QAD split $50,000 between Aliso Elementary, Canalino Elementary, and Carpinteria Family School. It also gave the Santa Barbara County Education Office $8000 for its teacher innovation programs in local schools.

QAD is a Santa Barbara based company which develops software for manufacturing companies.
