Man Arrested After Barging Into Ventura County Home, And Being Tasered, Pepper Sprayed

Posted on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 11:14am

Authorities say a New York man is facing burglary, trespassing, and resisting arrest charges after he barged into a Ventura County home, terrifying its residents.

It happened on the 2600 block of Marvella Court, in the Santa Rosa Valley. Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies say Jae Lee burst into the home, and told its residents to leave. They barricaded themselves in a room, while the 40 year old man rummaged through their belongings.

Deputies responded to the scene, and confronted Lee, who threatened them with a glass vase. When he refused to surrender, they used a Taser. Lee removed the probes before it could be triggered, but then was captured when pepper spray was used to temporarily disable him. The residents were unharmed.
