Can merging two local school districts create one which is more effcient, and more cost effective?
Voters in one Ventura County community are going to get the chance to try to answer that question. The State Board of Education yesterday approved putting a proposal to merge the Santa Paula Elementary, and High School Districts on the November ballot.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports there’s no organized opposition, but says some top local schools officials are skeptical of the idea.
