With just a few weeks left in the rainfall season for Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties, it looks like the region is going to only end up with about two thirds of its average annual rainfall.
Climatologists say what’s coming next may be difficult to predict.
One leading oceanographer says instead of the wetter than normal “El Nino” pattern, or the drier than average “La Nina”, we could be hit by what he’s dubbed “La Nada”, which amounts to a big question mark.
