A strong storm has dumped more than two inches of rain on parts of Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties.
The storm included thunderstorms in parts of the region, and locally heavy rainfall at times.
In Ventura County, rainfall amounts ranged from around a half inch, to more than two inches in some mountain areas. Oxnard and Ventura had about seven tenths of an inch of rain, Santa Paula 1.4 inches, and Ojai an inch and a half of rain.
Lake Piru recorded two and a half inches of rain.
In Santa Barbara County, downtown Santa Barbara reported about a half inch of rain, and the foothills above Montecito about 1.3 inches.
The storm is expected to leave our area overnight, but showers, and snow at higher elevations are possible until tomorrow morning.
