Santa Barbara City College Announces Forums To Introduce Finalists For Superintendent/President To Public

After undergoing a storm of criticism over the handling of the removal of its last Superintendent/President, Santa Barbara City College is taking an unusually open approach to choosing a permanent successor.

The College will host four community forums, so people can listen to each of the four finalists, and ask them questions.

The first one will take place this Friday, and the remaining three will occur on Thursday, April 19th.

The candidates are four current community college presidents in California.

The City College Board is hoping to make a final decision in time to have a new Superintendent/President in place by July 1st.
