Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department Looking For Suspect In String Of Carpinteria Business Burglaries

Posted on Thursday, April 5, 2012 5:04pm

Detectives have identified a suspect in the burglaries of three Carpinteria burglaries, but say the 19 year old man is still at large.

They think Robert Thornton of Carpinteria climbed onto the roofs of the Casitas Plaza businesses to break into each of them. The investigators say he then stole a number of items before leaving the same way he entered.

They’re hoping someone might know where Thorton is, or have seen him recently.
