Ventura County Woman Arrested For String Of Burglaries In Ojai Valley

Posted on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 12:19am

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a woman in connection with a month long string of burglaries in the Ojai Valley.

A woman posing as a door-to-door salesperson burglarized more than a dozen homes in the area in February, and March.  Following a Saturday burglary, investigators discovered footprints, and fingerprints at a home on the 1400 block of Foothill Road.

They say the evidence led them to Andrea Barrack of Ojai.  A search of the 32 year old woman’s home turned up hundreds of items of jewelry which they think are related to the burglary spree.  She was arrested on burglary, and possession of stolen property charges, as well as for possession of a device used to smoke illicit drugs.
