U.C. Santa Barbara Researcher Helps Develop New Clues Into Diagnosing Major Cause Of Blindness

Age related macular degeneration is one of the most common causes of blindness, and in most cases there’s currently no cure, or treatment available.  But, a U.C. Santa Barbara researcher is part of a team which has developed what may be a key breakthrough in diagnosing, and eventually treating the disease.  KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story.
