Four Arrested Following Auto Theft, String Of Auto Burglaries In Santa Barbara, Ventura Counties

Four Ventura County residents are facing a series of charges in connection with a string of auto burglaries, and thefts in Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties.

There were at least 10 auto burglaries in the Carpinteria area in the last week.

Yesterday, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Deputies found a car believed to be associated with the crimes parked outside of a motel on the 5500 block of Carpinteria Avenue.

When they tried to make contact with the people connected to the car, the two men, and two women refused to come out of their motel room, and were finally arrested after deputies forced their way into the room.

Donald Reyes, Timothy Dalrymple, and Kristina Maria Ferguson of Oxnard, and Janna Cucci of Port Hueneme were arrested on a series of charges ranging from resisting arrest, to receiving stolen property.
