A man who was a soccer coach in Santa Barbara County in the 1980’s is facing 17 felony sexual abuse counts involving two of his players at the time, and investigators are now looking for more potential victims.
Terence Paul Stevens was a soccer coach in the Lompoc area during the mid to late 1980’s.
He later moved to the San Diego area.
In 2008, he was arrested in Yuma, Arizona for molesting a minor, and was convicted.
In the last few months, two men who were children at the time Stevens was in Lompoc went to Santa Barbara County Sherriff’s Department detectives, and said the now 52 year old man repeatedly molested them.
Detectives believe there are more victims, and are currently trying to identify them.
