High wind caused problems throughout much of Southern California, but Ventura and Santa Barbara counties have escaped the brunt of the damage.
Wind gusts topping 100 miles an hour uprooted trees, and caused numerous power outages in the Los Angeles area, and the San Gabriel Valley.
Some minor outages, and damaged trees have been reported in our area.
The low pressure triggering the wind is drifting east, with winds shifting from north, to northeast tonight (12/1), and easing tomorrow.
Ventura County could still see some gusts topping 50 miles an hour in the mountains, and foothills tonight, before the wind tapers off though the day tomorrow.
