Posted on Thursday, November 10, 2011 12:55am

A Ventura County based university is offering classes for the first time on the Central Coast.

California Lutheran University is launching a new masters degree program in educational leadership in northern Santa Barbara County.

CLU’s Graduate School of Education will offer classes at the new Central Coast Learning Center, in the administrative offices for the Orcutt Union School District.

The program is designed to train people to become administrative leaders like principals, superintendents, and directors of non-profit organizations.  CLU already offers the leadership program at its main campus in Thousand Oaks.

CLU is the parent of KCLU Radio.
