Federal Prosecutors Say Three Oxnard Gang Members Arrested In Connection With Drug Dealing, Others Sought

Posted on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 4:52pm

Federal prosecutors say three members of Oxnard’s “Colonia Chiques” street gang have been arrested on drug dealing, and weapons charges, and three others are being sought as the result of an undercover operation in Camarillo. Authorities say they arrested Diana Sophia Zamora of Camarillo, Edgar Rafael Aguilar of Oxnard, and Roger Gonzales Armendariz of  Oxnard. The federal prosecutors say in the undercover operation, a gang member agreed to sell 10 pounds of methamphetamine, and four pounds of cocaine to undercover operators for $200,000.  They say the four decade old “Colonia Chiques” gang has more than 1,000 members, and strong ties to the Mexican Mafia prison gang.
