A San Diego County man wanted for murder who was shot, and wounded while being arrested in Ventura County has been moved south to face charges.
Ventura Police say one of their officers shot Jesus Farias last Wednesday as he tried to flee a Pomo Street home where he had been hiding. The National City man was taken to a Ventura hospital so he could recover enough so he could safely be moved to San Diego County.
Farias was wanted for the June 27th shooting death of another man in National City, and police there had received information he was hiding in Ventura.
He has already pled not guilty in San Diego to charges he killed Antonio Vargas of National City.
